Super happy to say that three works were selected for the annual art exhibition with the SSA this year and what is more is that it’s a physical exhibition to visit inside the amazing building of the RSA. I have been lucky to show two new sculptural works alongside a digital print and I am looking forward to receiving feedback on them! I also have a few selected small prints available to purchase in the members 30x30 works.

It is a fantastic show and curated really well - if you get the chance this month, please take a visit!

For the Love of Money Art...

So nice to be featured in Volume 1 of ‘For the Love of Money Art’ which showcases a huge range of defaced money artwork from around the world! The images of mine were some of the first works created back in 2017 and were actually printed for a commission for a private banking group. SUMMER 2020 EXHIBITION: 21/08 – 5/10

GRADCURATE is an Edinburgh-based platform for recent graduate artists to showcase their work.

The driving force behind the project is a desire to support artists who find themselves stuck ‘in limbo’ between student and professional life – no longer having access to opportunities through their degree programme, while facing intense competition from established practitioners; lacking the flexibility to gain further industry experience due to work commitments and the need to earn a living.

I was really pleased to have two selected for this project and the virtual exhibition is now live for you to see. Access the full show and my works in Gallery two here until September 21st!

Collaborations

The online initiative Artist Support Pledge started during lockdown and fast became a huge network and support for artists to continue creating, selling and buying amazing artwork. I connected with a local fellow photographer Gilliard Lach and between us we decided to offer a collaboration print to support the initiative and help each other exposure our practices to a wider audience. Below you can see the black and white print we created.

The image of the dog walker was taken by Gillard in Holyrood, Edinburgh on a misty morning. This backdrop became the perfect scene to place one of my digital rocks. The surreal play on scale and atmosphere really creates an impact and I really enjoyed combining our skills to create this image.

The print is available at 40x58cm printed on Hahnemuhle fine art paper - £200 including UK shipping

Please email me if you are interested in purchasing.

Article in - The Times

New Blood Art is an online platform I became a member of during lockdown. They are fantastic support and advocates for graduate/emerging artists and have been a huge support in exposing my work to a wider audience. I never believed that this would create the opportunity to be featured in The Times newspaper recently alongside other artists talking about how our practices have been affected during recent times. I am very proud of this achievement and hope to see what direction my practice takes in the future!
